Mellonaid Creative Partners with AIGA

Mellonaid Creative, an award-winning multimedia communications firm, is pleased to announce its partnership with AIGA Raleigh, the professional association for design.

2011-01-30
RALEIGH, NC, January 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Committed to serving local organizations, Mellonaid is excited to serve one that has such an expansive impact on the design community.

Mellonaid's Creative Director, Ben Schwabauer, explains, "Design has the power to tell the story of our clients, find solutions to a problem that costs millions, but more importantly to help people. That is why we find it important to be involved with AIGA in a effort to help build a better design community and improve relationships between designer and client."

Throughout 2010, Mellonaid Creative joined with Petrie Creative and the design community to develop a brochure that would explain who AIGA was and the partnership benefits to sponsors. The newly designed AIGA sponsorship brochure shows the value and importance of investing into the design community by highlighting how designers are problem-solvers with a huge influence on the marketplace. The brochure uses a non-traditional "choose your own adventure" style interaction to direct readers to pages/information that matters to them most, and also showcases a variety of styles (original illustration and hand-created imagery for each spread) to create the unexpected and keep the reader's attention.  Vincent Gardner, AIGA Raleigh's Partnership Director, further describes the brochure as "exciting, informative and a pure statement of design."

Joe Schram, AIGA Raleigh's Vice President of Community Resources, expressed his enthusiasm concerning Mellonaid's partnership, saying "From the excellent photography and design to the spot-on strategic guidance about effective storytelling, Mellonaid really helped us communicate what's unique about our organization. Now that we have this excellent piece of collateral from Mellonaid to help us, our board has more confidence when beginning conversations with potential partners, and we expect to more than double our list of sponsors in 2011."
