NEW YORK, NY, February 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) A new Facebook contest from designer lingerie company Journelle (www.Journelle.com) offers contestants a chance to win a $500 gift card redeemable online or at one of their New York or Florida stores.
To qualify, users must visit www.Facebook.com/Journelle and submit a short essay where they can "Tell us what's really in your heart this Valentine's Day: Share what you love, what you want, what you need, share if you're in love with love, in love with yourself, or love to hate love, share what's kind, honest, and true in your heart. "
Upon submission of their essay, contestants will have an opportunity to post their favorite designer lingerie items on their Facebook wall as a hint to their Valentine. Submissions must be completed by 3:00 PM EST, February 12th, 2011.
"We at Journelle, wanted to have a promotion that would encourage people to express their raw feelings about what love really means to them," said Journelle founder Claire Chambers.
The contest winner will be chosen by a "mystery panel of hand-picked lingerie experts using a carefully calibrated algorithm based on imagination, creativity, sauciness, and honesty or how many times we laugh/cry/fist pump/toast champagne while reading your entry."
The Journelle promotion is being conducted in partnership with online marketing firm Site Optimized.
Journelle is a premier lingerie store with locations in Manhattan and Miami Florida. Known for its high quality lingerie and impeccable presentation, Journelle has been presenting a tastefully-curated (rather than exhaustive) selection of lingerie, and focuses on providing customers with compassionate, expert assistance since 2007. The company name is inspired by the archaic French word journellement, which means "daily" and Journelle's philosophy is that everyone deserves to wear designer lingerie every day.
