PHUKET, THAILAND, February 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Translated to English as The Wayward Daughter, the title's character Lise, is the only daughter of Simone, a widow who owns a farm in which Lise falls for one of the farmers known as Colas. Seeking a more suitable hand for her daughter's marriage, the audience is then soon introduced to a rich vineyard owner, Thomas who has a son that just happens to be seeking a potential pride.
What ensues is a giddy mix of hide and seeks as the lovers try to hide their affection from Simone in a quest to be together. Ballet enthusiasts staying in a hotel in Birmingham can see how the plot unfolds for the couple when the performances are held at the Birmingham Hippodrome between 2nd and 5th March 2011.
Most of the acts start from 19:30 on each day but early performances can also be seen on certain days. Tickets range from GBP19.50 to GBP45 in accordance with timings and seating locations.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com, commented: "La Fille Mal Gardee is one of the great ballets and is popular for its light hearted and comic storyline. Performed by the Royal Ballet it's also a chance for people to see displays from the country's best dancers so tickets along with hotels near the venue will be in high demand."
