ATLANTA, GA, February 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) One of the best kept secrets in the fashion world is what wedding dress Kate Middleton will wear at the Royal Wedding in April. With an unlimited budget and access to top fashion designers in Britain, her wedding dress certainly will be the center of attention on her wedding day. You may remember how wonderful you felt wearing your wedding dress or tuxedo on your wedding day. You deserve to feel that way every day in your marriage. Now you can thanks to a new book, "Always a Wedding" by Dr. James Lee Collins. "Always a Wedding" is an inspirational and instructional guidebook for couples who are considering marriage, looking to renew their marriage or may need to rescue their marriage.
The importance of proper attire in a marriage is discussed in Chapter Nine of "Always a Wedding" - What Shall We Wear. Everyone wants to look their best on their wedding day but it is just as important to dress properly every day in your marriage. Dr Collins writes, "Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to live with your mate and best friend who dressed form God's wardrobe every day?" The author describes seven garments, as listed in the NT Book of Colossians 3:12-17, that couples should wear in their marriage:
• Compassion
• Kindness
• Humility
• Meekness
• Patience
• Forgiveness
• Love
Dr. Collins shares his experience and practical knowledge from his own personal experience and from counseling thousands of couples seeking to grow and renew their marriage. "Always a Wedding" is based on the dozens of sermons that Dr. Collins gave during the "Wedding Bells Service"at Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The "Wedding Bells Service" is held the second Sunday in January to allow couples the opportunity to renew their wedding vows and embrace a fuller commitment to their marriage. Each chapter of,"Always a Wedding" covers an important aspect of a true marriage and features real life examples, spiritual guidance, instruction and helpful marriage goals and communication tools with a touch of humor. Some of these useful tools include, The Four Goals of Marriage, The Seven Banners of Love, and The Five Ts of Marriage- even a Contract for Fighting Fair!
Dr. Collins says, "The hope of this book is to help those who seek true marriage to discover that it is more than just living with someone. It is a sacred bond that satisfies the deepest desires of one's heart. It is the means of growing as best friends and lovers as long as life continues. Marriage is the best investment with the greatest dividends that a man and woman will ever make. It truly is a divine gift from God." Dr. Kirk Nowery, former Miami Dolphin Football Team Chaplain for twelve years, says, "This book is a must read. Dr. Collins performed my daughter's wedding at the Atlanta Peachtree Christian Church and he truly knows what marriage is and can be with God's help."
