Lakeside Exteriors has been honored with the 2011 NARI Contractor of the Year (Coty) regional award and presentation will be made at an awards banquet in Jersey City, NJ in April. The Lakeside owners, Matt and Dan Merrifield, were elated when the surprise announcement was recently made. "It is a great honor to receive this reward on behalf of our entire team, who made this possible."
NARI is a national association of remodeling contractors who pledge the highest code of ethics and integrity in the conduct of their business. There are strict guidelines for membership. To win an award from this elite group of nationwide contractors is a great achievement.
The residence in which this project was based was a rather non-descript, ordinary home in Chesterfield, MO. The exterior remodel was extensive. The winning project documentation, which included a complete redesign and fabrication of the home's front porch and entryway was described in detail and before/during/after photos showed the dramatic change to this home. Fiber-cement siding with a bold color (iron-gray) and contrasting trim (white) added to the balance and appearance. The new curb-appeal is truly amazing. Not the least important was the testimonial of the homeowners. They were pleased and their expectations were exceeded. This home will be featured in several publications during 2011.
