SMC Software Unveils Ticketing Management System for Parking

SMC Software, a division of Smart Marketing Concepts, Inc., is a technology company who has developed and launched an intuitive Ticketing Management System for the parking industry.

2011-02-18
OLDSMAR, FL, February 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) SMC Software, a subsidiary company of Smart Marketing Concepts, Inc., announced today the unveiling of its new web-based intuitive Ticketing Management System (TMS) for the parking industry. Like the cutting-edge real-time Central Reservations System (CRS) SMC launched early last year, this too is designed to be easily adapted to and integrated with all of the Parking Management Systems and hardware components currently being used in the industry.

The TMS, scheduled for installation this month at A1 Express Airport Parking in Tampa, Florida, was developed as a web-application to give each operator a point-of-sale application built entirely within a cloud-computing environment. The TMS provides a total management delivery solution that scales to fit any size business.

"The result is a comprehensive, yet simple and flexible system which provides the parking operator with the ability to manage multiple rate tiers, inventory, additional products and services in real-time, and thus better satisfy the wants and needs of customers more efficiently," stated SMC president Mike Harley. "It's our goal to provide parking companies of every size, regardless of the marketplace, with a single platform to manage their operation by focusing on core business issues and strategies".

SMC works with SunTrust Bank and First Data for its payment processing. SunTrust is a recognized leader in the business banking arena across a wide range of industries and was recently ranked Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Small Business Banking in a recent study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates. First Data is a global technology and payments processing leader, serving more than six million merchant locations, thousands of card issuers and millions of consumers worldwide.

In 2010 SMC signed agreements with a significant number of off-airport companies for use of its CRS and expects to have its technology installed in at least 50 North American airport markets by July 2011. SMC has also initiated a National Parking Program which partners with major travel industry organizations offering exclusive pricing and promotions to drive new parking customer into their offairport client's facilities.
