MUNICH, GERMANY, February 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Adele is set to perform at the Kesselhaus in Munich on Tuesday March 29th.
Fresh from a widely-acclaimed performance of forthcoming single Someone Like You at the Brit Awards in London, the 22-year-old singer will embark on a European tour next month.
Her gig in Munich will give fans a chance to hear songs from her second album 21, which was praised by critics on its release last month.
The record saw Adele consolidate her position as one of British pop music's most distinctive young voices.
She initially burst on to the scene in 2007 with the single Hometown Glory and released her debut album 19 the following year.
It proved to be an instant hit on account of the London-born artist's powerful vocals and mature songwriting.
The album spawned the hit singles Chasing Pavements, Cold Shoulder and Make You Feel My Love before Adele dropped out of the public eye to begin work on the follow-up.
Preceded by the single Rolling in the Deep, 21 was released on January 19th this year and has been hailed as a soulful, progressive take on the sound of her first album.
Adele's appearance at the Brits was arguably the star-studded occasion's most talked-about performance, as she gave an emotional rendition of a highlight from the new LP accompanied only by a piano.
The live version quickly reached number one in the iTunes download chart after the awards ceremony.
Tickets for Adele's performance in Munich are available online for EUR28.70 (GBP24.10). Doors will open at 20:00 local time and the music is scheduled to begin at 21:00.
