BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, February 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Beyond the Darkness are bringing what they describe as the ultimate Pink Floyd concert to Brisbane at the end of next month.
Their A Finger on the Pulse gigs are entirely based on Pink Floyd's legendary 1996 tour. The run of shows was widely seen as the most spectacular the prog rock legends had ever produced.
The show will see Beyond the Darkness performing more than three hours of songs taken from the Pulse live album and DVD, including Comfortably Numb, Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Run Like Hell.
A massive colour laser show mimicking the one seen at the original gigs will be created for the Brisbane audience. The organisers have also promised inflatable pigs, videos, "unrivalled" lighting and more.
The concert takes place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre's (BCEC's) Great Hall on March 26th 2011, kicking off at 20:00 local time.
Tickets are available for between AU$95 and AU$120.
Fans can reach the venue by catching the Air Train to South Brisbane Railway Station, which is directly adjacent to the BCEC.
Undercover parking for 1,500 vehicles is also available at the facility.
Gig-goers looking for Brisbane hotels close to the venue can find a large selection of hotels in the area at LateRooms.com.
