BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND, March 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) will welcome chart-topping pop-rockers McFly next month.
Having released their fifth studio album Above the Noise in November 2010, the boys are heading out on their first arena tour in two years.
They will stop off in Bournemouth on Wednesday March 23rd for a show that is sure to feature many of their classic hits, as well as plenty of tracks from the new LP.
Having taken their name from Marty McFly, the protagonist of the Back to the Future film series, the four-piece group first shot to fame in 2004 with the release of their debut single 5 Colours in Her Hair.
Tom, Harry, Danny and Dougie have since sold an estimated eight million albums worldwide, appeared alongside Lindsay Lohan in the romantic comedy Just My Luck and covered songs by everyone from Michael Jackson to ABBA.
Fans will not doubt be hoping to hear tunes from their own back catalogue, such as Obviously, All About You and Star Girl, when they perform in Bournemouth.
Tickets for the BIC concert are priced at GBP14 and GBP28.50. The music is due to begin at 19:30 GMT.
People planning to attend the show will find a range of Bournemouth hotels at LateRooms.com, which features the Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth.
