Dr. Lewis is launching ClaimTheImpossible.com as a companion website to her new book, Dr. Renee Lewis's Claim the Impossible Survival Guide: What to Say & What to Do When Toxic Talk Makes Your Life Absolutely Impossible. Dr. Lewis's latest book is now available on Amazon.com.
Dr. Lewis will produce and host ClaimTheImpossible.com. She is a speech communication specialist, retired Assistant Professor of English and former Instructor of Speech Communication at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. In 2006, Dr. Lewis retired at the age of 33, and after ten years of teaching at the collegiate level, to start her eponymous company. In 2003, Dr. Lewis earned the first Ph.D. ever awarded in the 92-year history of MTSU.
ClaimTheImpossible.com will be thought-provoking, motivating and highly informative, covering how to respond to specific forms of toxic talk--such as chronic complaining, lying, sabotage, stereotyping and destructive criticism, in a roughly five-minute weekly format.
