PEMBROKE PINES, FL, August 13, 2010 (Press-News.org) Stephanie Llamas, a local singer/songwriter based out of Miami, FL, will be performing alongside other local musicians at TheTalentFarm on August 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The show is an Afton production and other performers include Saviour or Suitor, Miss Wright, Cystem 32, On The Contrary, A Certain Justice, BurnByTruth, Styles of Saturn & Guests. This will be her first performance at the venue.
Stephanie Llamas has been performing her own music since the age of 15, with the recording of her demo album. After graduating from Northwestern University in 2008, she began focusing on her music career and is currently working on a new album. Llamas sings and plays guitar alongside musicians Ricky Bofill, Caio Santos and her sister and fellow songwriter, Danielle Llamas. She has performed at the Vagabond and venues in Chicago. Her background is eclectic as she began her music career as a violist and musical theatre performer, winning Superior marks at District and State level competitions. Her influences include The Cure, Ani DiFranco, and Ben Folds, mixing the genres for her own, unique sound.
TheTalentFarm is a South Florida venue that showcases local musicians and bands and offers live concert streaming on their website.
