Bruegger's Limited Time Offer Spotlights Tasty New Breakfast Options & Lunch Values

Spring menu features new flavors and old favorites.

2011-03-08
BURLINGTON, VT, March 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) This spring,Bruegger's will offer its guests new flavors, including a new breakfast bagel sandwich served on one of Bruegger's guests' favorite bagel flavors and a spicy new cream cheese flavor; and will add to its popular "Choose Two" lunch value menu.

Starting March 9, the 300-unit fast casual leader will introduce the Asiago Florentine Egg Sandwich, a perfect blend of flavors featuring Bruegger's new Light Smoked Red Pepper cream cheese, sausage and a spinach omelet served on an Asiago Parmesan bagel -- voted one of Bruegger's top flavors during the chain's National Bagel Day survey. In the survey nearly 70,000 Bruegger's fans voted on their favorite bagel and cream cheese, with the Asiago Parmesan bagel coming in as guests' second favorite.

The winner of the National Bagel Day survey, the Everything Bagel, will also be featured on Bruegger's menu line up this spring. Chef Philip Smith has chosen the top ranked bagel for his "Baker's Choice," pairing it with his new cream cheese creation, Light Smoked Red Pepper, and a cup of Rain Forest Nut Coffee.

"The smoky spice of the new Light Smoked Red Pepper Cream Cheese goes perfectly with many of our bagels, especially the savory Asiago Parmesan and spicy Everything bagels," said Smith. "We think both of our new offerings will be a hit with our guests."

For lunch, Bruegger's is featuring its "Choose Two" pairing, a great value starting at just $5.99 (depending on location). This spring the soup and sandwich combo will feature half of a bakery fresh sandwich or panini with a cup of any soup. Guests can choose from a variety of chef-developed sandwiches made from freshly baked breads and flavorful ingredients such as the Turkey Chipotle Club on honey wheat bread, Leonardo da Veggie, or a Primo Pesto Chicken panini -- all made fresh to order. Bruegger's signature soups change daily and all have less than 300 calories per 8 ounce serving.
