Edmundo Cortes was crossing Castle Hill Avenue in the Bronx when he was fatally struck by a NYC Transit bus making a turn. Apparently, the bus driver did not realize his bus hit a pedestrian as he was making a right turn, because he continued driving until a witness stopped him. The pedestrian died, crushed under the wheels of the bus.
