MEYZIEU, FRANCE, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) The new feature has been introduced in late February in order to help customers choose the best breaker. All the ratings from the customers are available on each quote sent by the scrap yards in the Customer Area of the Car-Scrapyards website. Thanks to this, people have the opportunity to choose the breaker they want to call more wisely. It appears in the form of five stars, symbolising the average rating for each yard.
So that the system remains useful, not everybody can leave their impression on the website. The feature is available only to customers who had called a yard regarding their request. Two weeks after they have made the call, they receive an e-mail informing them they can leave a comment about the breaker. They rate the yard from 0 to 10 out of 10 and write a comment to tell the other customers about their experience with this or that scrap yard. Comments are also limited to one for each quote sent by the yards.
"This system will be useful for the breakers and Car-Scrapyards itself. As our members have an access to the users' ratings, they can see what is said about them and therefore they can improve their service. And for us, we can see if a breaker gets too many bad ratings and eventually we will stop working with them," says Olivier Haro, CEO. The company hopes that it will make the search of used car parts on the Internet even safer and more reliable.
About Car-Scrapyards
Car-Scrapyards is an online parts locator that operates in the United Kingdom. Founded in 2006, this concept is the result of the collaboration between Internet development specialists and car experts.
The company has simplified the buying and selling of car spares by setting up a website where the supply meets the demand. The website provides a wide range of car spares and lets any visitor make a car part request for free.
The database also contains more than 100 car manufacturers, making it easier for the web users to find their car spares, from Ford to Peugeot used car parts.
In order to reply to these requests, Car-Scrapyards collaborates with many car breakers that will reply to the customers instantly. The latter will then receive an e-mail with many offers from the salvage yards, and will have the possibility to choose the most interesting one.
Every day, the company helps hundreds of people find their used car spares, putting them in contact with a large network of breaker yards in the U.K.
