Two matches in the Asian 5 Nations rugby tournament are to be hosted at the Hong Kong Football Club.

HONG KONG, HK, March 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Asian 5 Nations rugby tournament is to make its way to Hong Kong in April.

As part of the 2011 competition, Hong Kong Football Club will host the game between Hong Kong and Japan on April 30th.

The visitors are the defending champions and are due to represent Asia at the Rugby World Cup, which is taking place in New Zealand during September and October.

Admission is free and the game will get underway at 16:00 local time.

The same venue will be used for a subsequent match in the tournament on May 21st, an encounter that will see the home side take on the United Arab Emirates.

Hong Kong will kick off their round of fixtures away to Kazakhstan on April 23rd and are also scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on May 14th.

Both of their home games at the Hong Kong Football Club are to be televised.

Trevor Gregory, vice-president of the Asian Rugby Football Union, said: "The Asian 5 Nations [has] been vital to the development and expansion of rugby in Asia at both the elite and grassroots level."
