The combination of price reductions, incentives and upgrades add up to a possible $53,000 in savings for buyers at Cordova, a luxury townhome community now priced from $295,900. Buyers will save a combined total of up to $56,000 at Trellis, a detached new home neighborhood now priced from $423,900.

"Because we'd like to capitalize on the momentum built by low mortgage rates, we're pricing homes to sell, including several move-in ready residences," said Lora Heramb, vice president of sales and marketing for Brookfield Homes. "With savings in the tens of thousands of dollars, this is an opportune time to buy."

Cordova, Brookfield's townhome community, has three move-in ready homes available. Priced from $295,900, the two-story homes have three or four bedrooms, 2.5 or three baths and a feature that is unique to most new attached homes, side-by-side two-car garages. The community, which recently celebrated the grand opening of its private recreation center, offers six floor plans ranging from 1,638 to 2,024 square feet.

Cordova homes include granite kitchen countertops, maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and built-in security systems. For more information about Cordova at Windingwalk in Chula Vista, visit the model homes at 1822 Casa Morro Street, Chula Vista, CA 91915 or call 866-780-2303.

Brookfield's second Windingwalk community, Trellis, features two-story, single-family detached homes with prices starting at $423,900. Trellis at Windingwalk has four floor plans ranging from approximately 2,361 to 2,620 square feet that include four or five bedrooms and 2.5 or three baths.

Trellis homes include granite kitchen countertops, maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, air conditioning and built-in security systems, as well as front-yard landscaping. Currently, three homes are ready for immediate move-in. For additional details about Trellis at Windingwalk in Chula Vista, visit the model homes at 2346 Trellis St. in Chula Vista, or call 888-520-3599.

Residents at both Cordova and Trellis have access to three significant community gathering places, including the resort-style $5 million Winding Oaks Recreation Center, the $3 million Winding Trails Recreation Center and the centrally located Windingwalk Park, which offers basketball and tennis courts, a skate park, softball field, picnic areas and restrooms.

Nearby both communities is Windingwalk's planned junior-senior combined high school. To the south will be the planned Chula Vista University Park and Research Center, among other educational and business amenities. Serving students in grades K-12, expansion is now underway at High-Tech High Learning. The charter school's second phase is scheduled open this fall.
