Billed as an event to make rockers drool, the festival - which takes place between October 2nd and 3rd 2010 - features live performances from big-name musicians, as well as mountains of amps, drums, guitars and more.

Four-time Grammy nominee and blues legend Robben Ford will host a workshop for cheap accommodation Melbourne customers lucky enough to get their hands on tickets.

Meanwhile, former Kiss star Bruce Kulick will be on hand to tell audience members all they need to know about rock guitar, while country giant Redd Volkaert and ex-Tea Party frontman Jeff Martin will be offering tips on a range of subjects.

Jonathan Moffett, who has toured as a drummer with the likes of Madonna, Elton John and the Jacksons, is also scheduled to give a masterclass.

Standard entrance to the event, which takes place at Melbourne Exhibition Centre, will cost A$20, although a concessionary price of A$15 is available and children can get in for A$10.

However, admission to the Robben Ford show will require an additional A$59 ticket purchase, with the number of these passes limited to just 300.
