First Annual National Go to Bed Early Day Recognizes the Important Connection Between Being Well Rested and Having a Healthy and Happy Lifestyle

On the heels of the National Sleep Foundation's National Sleep Awareness Week and the switch to Daylight Savings Time, Sleep Country USA celebrated National Go to Bed Early Day on Monday (March 14, 2011) - the first Monday after the Daylight Savings change.

Sleep Country established this day to help Americans recognize the importance of being well rested and to recoup the one hour of sleep lost by turning the clocks forward for Daylight Savings.
