PARIS, FRANCE, September 09, 2010 (Press-News.org) The French are going head to head with the Romanians in a match that could offer football fans a perfect night out during their stay at hotels in Paris.

While France may not have had a particularly successful Fifa World Cup this year - they did not make it out of the group stages and there was a lot of tension between the players and coach - they can wipe the slate clean for the European Championships.

However, if they are going to get through to the finals of the competition, they must first qualify against some good footballing sides, one of which is Romania, with the game against them confirmed to take place on October 9th 2010 at 21:00 local time.

France have plenty of famous and talented players in their squad, such as Premier League stars Patrice Evra and Nicolas Anelka, as well as other recognisable names, including Karim Benzema, Franck Ribery and Thierry Henry.

But this was not to enough to overcome Belarus last week, with Les Bleus losing 1-0 on Friday.

This is sure to leave them even more fired up for when they meet the Romanians in October and make for an entertaining match.

Tickets for this game cost between EUR20 (GBP16.60) and EUR100, with the contest taking place at the Stade de France.
