A new monthly publication- Save On Cars & Trucks - has just been launched in the Detroit and Chicago metropolitan regions, according to Heather Uballe, director of operations at Save On Everything, a Troy, Mich.-based leader in direct mail marketing.

2011-03-18
NOVI, MI, March 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) Save On Cars & Trucks is a tabloid-size direct mail product that features auto dealer car and truck specials, but in a high-quality, full-color, glossy format that does justice to car company high-resolution vehicle photos.

In Detroit, Save on Cars & Trucks is mailing to 1.3 million homes in the Tri-County region. In Chicago, the publication is slated to reach over 1.7 million households

"C.A.R.S. - our Complete Automotive Response System - is part of Save on Cars & Trucks," said Uballe. "It's a marketing package for dealers that includes postcards, flyers, circulars and service coupon booklets that will allow them to highlight their pre-owned vehicles and service offerings in addition to new car deals."

Tom Bechtell, general sales manager for Buff Whelan Chevrolet in Sterling Heights, said, "It's a unique publication, being much higher in quality production values than any other sales piece out there. It has a great, glossy, four-color look, and stands out in size when the consumers see it in their mailbox. Since we started using it, we've been number one in our market."

A related online website - SaveonCarsandTrucks.com - will also launch as a new Internet model for car dealers later this year, she added.
