ATLANTA, GA, March 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program presents Embracing the Love Within, a fundraiser to raise awareness about domestic violence and the effects it has on families around the world. This unforgettable night will feature live music from the Majestik band, performances by Vizion Dance team, and the keynote speakers for the evening will be Chyna McGarity- Namho and George Namho, Author, Domestic Violence Advocate, and founders of Purple Casket.com
This event will be held April 5, 2011 beginning at 7:30pm at Licquid Internet Cafe located at 294 Walker St. Atlanta, Ga. 30309. A donation of $20.00 is requested.
The Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program was founded in 2010 by Roderick Cunningham in honor of his mother, Beverly Cunningham, who was brutally murdered at the hands of her husband on October 27, 2009 after enduring years of mental and verbal abuse. Our mission is to provide individual and group counseling, advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence and an outlet for community youth who are at risk of becoming victims of violence, substance abuse or who are impacted by health issues.

Physical ill-health is rife among the severely mentally ill in Britain, according to new research published today by the University of East Anglia (UEA).
In a study of almost 800 patients with severe mental illness such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, two-thirds were found to be overweight or obese, and a disproportionate number suffered from diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and raised cholesterol.
