RICHMOND, VA, March 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Virginia marketing firm Two Black Labs Marketing has just launched a blog about technology and software for the non-profit sector. The blog - http://nfptechblog.com/ - will be written by Microsoft Partners and other technology firms. Microsoft Partners will focus on the use and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics products. The Microsoft Dynamics suite, which includes several complex customer relationship management and accounting software products, is a powerful tool for non-profits.
NFP Tech Blog's goal is to give technology experts who have experience with not for profit clients a platform to share their knowledge. Experts will offer advice on how to choose the best Microsoft Dynamics product, how to find the right Microsoft Dynamics Partner, how to implement and customize a system to meet specific needs and how a non-profit can get the most out of software they already own.
Experienced Microsoft Partners will use the blog to publish case studies of their work with non-profits describing how the technology was adapted to meet the unique challenges of running and funding a philanthropic organization. One blog contributor, SSi Consulting (Microsoft's 2009 Mid-Atlantic Partner of the Year), recently published a case summary of their work with Truist a technology provider that powers on-line charitable giving forms and volunteer pledges (http://nfptechblog.com/accounting-software-for-not-for-profits-fund-raising/).
Other charter members include: Brittenford Systems, Maner Costerisan, MIG & Co. and T3 Information Systems.
Two Black Labs Marketing is a Virginia-based marketing firm serving both businesses and non-profits. They are committed to making the process of creating a successful strategy and plan for your organization as painless as possible.
NFP Tech Blog is a blog for Microsoft Dynamics Partners to provide comparisons and opinions to professionals at nonprofit organizations. It will also serve other technology companies who help nonprofit organizations.
