PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, March 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) XBOSoft, a fast growing software quality assurance services company, presented last week at the annual Czech Test conference on March 9-10, 2011 in Prague. Czech Test, an annual conference on software and systems testing, provides an excellent opportunity for experts and fellow colleagues to share their own experiences about the most interesting topics and new trends in the field of software testing and quality assurance.
Managing Director at XBOSoft, Jan Princen, addressed conference delegates on the topic of ¡°When You Should Not Automate Your Software Testing¡±. ¡°Test automation is a critical regression activity in software development projects with short development cycles. As features build from iteration to iteration the time required to regression test expands. Automation is often viewed as the magic bullet for survival. However, at XBOSoft we have found that automation projects need clear and reasonable objectives for success and we wanted to take this opportunity to share some key lessons we have learned in order to improve attendees¡¯ chances of automation success¡± said Jan Princen.
During the conference many delegates took the opportunity to meet with Mr. Princen to discuss more specific issues related to automation, as well as a number of pressing issues facing software quality as a whole.
In recent months, XBOSoft quality assurance specialists have been invited to speak at a number of high profile events such as Web 2.0 in San Francisco and ICWE in Vienna, Austria. 2011 will see XBOSoft continue to speak at leading events as the company continues to cement its position as a thought leader in software quality.
