Kenneth Harney a nationally-syndicated columnist on real estate for the WASHINGTON POST WRITERS GROUP. Ken's column, the "Nation's Housing," appears in cities across the country and is closely read on Capitol Hill. Several columns have led directly to Congressional actions and changes in federal law. Ken also writes for RealtyTimes, an online news service. He served a three-year term as a member of the Federal Reserve Board's Consumer Advisory Council and was the 2009 Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Real Estate Editors, having served as president in 2008. He is the author of two books on mortgage finance and real estate. His articles have appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers and professional journals, and he has been a guest on many television and radio talk shows. Mr. Harney received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Princeton University, and was a graduate fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
Francois K. Gregoire licensed in Real Estate since 1976 and a second generation REALTOR , Broker and Appraiser. Frank is a State-Certified Residential Appraiser and Appraisal Instructor. He was appointed by the Governor to the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board (FREAB) in February, 2000 and served on the Board for eight years, four as Chairman. Frank is currently Vice Chairman of the National Association of REALTORS Appraisal Committee and is often quoted by local and nationally syndicated real estate columnists. As President of Gregoire & Gregoire, Inc., a Residential Real Estate Appraisal firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida, he is active in the valuation of properties for a wide variety of clients. He is frequently retained as a consultant and expert witness by clients for civil cases. The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board and Florida Real Estate Commission utilize his expert witness services in the prosecution of complaints against Florida real estate and appraisal licensees.
Ellen Hirsch De Haan Community Associations expert and attorney with Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. Ellen is past President of the Foundation for Community Association Research, a member of the National Community Associations Institute (CAI) Teaching Faculty and on the Board of Advisors of the University of Miami School of Law Institute on Condominium and Cluster Developments. Ellen is a member of the Florida Bar and the College of Community Association Lawyers. She is a contributing editor for Common Ground magazine and author of numerous works. Her latest publication is a book titled Boomer Shock: Preparing Communities for the Retirement Generation. She has also served as Commissioner for the National Board of Certification - Community Association Managers, and is past President of CAI National.
