I have prided myself on relationship-building as a key driver to my success and have never said no to an opportunity to expand my role or assume additional responsibilities. Often these opportunities require courage, particularly when they are presented outside of your areas of comfort or expertise as some of mine have Susan added, "throughout my career, I have consistently surrounded myself with top talent that shares my passion and drive. At this event, I recognized that I share this relational trait with many of the other award recipients."
The criteria for receiving a Glass Ceiling Award includes the ability to demonstrate leadership excellence; maintain a record of accomplishments in areas of expertise; bear a record of a steady increase in responsibility within their career; exhibit positive influence on those underneath their leadership; and display integrity and portray the highest ethical standard among colleagues and individuals.
