Ms. Ziolkowski represents employers and management in all areas of labor and employment law and is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
During her 14 years of practice, she has represented a wide range of employers in matters before state and federal agencies, including the Department of Labor, Texas Workforce Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. An experienced litigator, she has represented major companies and their employees in multiple trials and arbitrations throughout the United States involving claims of retaliation, discrimination, civil rights, compensation and harassment. Ms. Ziolkowski frequently provides counseling services to clients on a variety of employment issues, including investigations, FMLA and other leaves, discipline, and reductions in force. Ms. Ziolkowski regularly conducts training for clients on issues such as EEO compliance, diversity and sexual harassment.
Ms. Ziolkowski is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association and serves as a Tri-Chair for the Women in Leadership committee for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. As part of her work with worthwhile community groups, she currently works with Family Gateway, providing employee training and legal services pro bono.
Ms. Ziolkowski earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, and her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Houston's Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management. She joins the firm from Jackson Lewis LLP in Dallas.
