You Can Thrive! Foundation is changing the game and changing lives in 2011

NEW YORK, NY, April 07, 2011

You Can Thrive! (YCT) Foundation went into 2011 with an aggressive plan to fight an aggressive disease. YCT founded in 2005 by Luana DeAngelis Halpern, after herself being diagnosed with invasive cancer, is a Breast Cancer Foundation and wellness center that creates resources to alleviate the psychosocial and physical distress of breast cancer survivors especially those underinsured and financially strained , by providing free and low-cost patient-centered educational and wellness programs to promote better health after breast cancer.

For 2011 YCT has decided to sign with Buzz Brand Marketing as their agency of record and implement a serious marketing and fundraising campaign. DeAngelis Halpern stated, "We have a very solid expansion vision for the upcoming year and we're delighted that Buzz jumped onboard to help us fulfill our legacy for cancer patients by assisting us in expansion of the organization and overall brand recognition." With a myriad of events to look forward to this year as well as a new board of directors, YCT plans to double the amount of women they help yearly and move into a more permanent and larger wellness center as soon as possible.

Bring your girlfriends out for a night of "shopping for a cause", sampling cosmetics, sipping wine & leave knowing your shopping has done some good! The night will feature a hot new cosmetic line: Motives by Loren Ridinger. Make-up artists will be on site to help you select your best colors, Raffle prizes will include haircuts from Janet Waddell Salon, private Pilates sessions, your own custom blended foundation, gift certificates to excellent restaurants and a lot more! You'll be treated to wine, appetizers and chocolates while rotating through stations which include: Custom Minerals & Customizable Eye and Lip Palettes where you'll test out the products & consult with Motives professionals. Hand massages by Kimora Lee Simmons: Fabulosity Body Scrub & Lotion, hair consultations by our host/sponsor, Janet Waddell and a ton of other goodies.
