You Can Thrive! Foundation is changing the game and changing lives in 2011

Foundation and Wellness Center making great strides in the fight against breast cancer

NEW YORK, NY, April 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) You Can Thrive! (YCT) Foundation went into 2011 with an aggressive plan to fight an aggressive disease. YCT founded in 2005 by Luana DeAngelis Halpern, after herself being diagnosed with invasive cancer, is a Breast Cancer Foundation and wellness center that creates resources to alleviate the psychosocial and physical distress of breast cancer survivors especially those underinsured and financially strained , by providing free and low-cost patient-centered educational and wellness programs to promote better health after breast cancer.

For 2011 YCT has decided to sign with Buzz Brand Marketing as their agency of record and implement a serious marketing and fundraising campaign. DeAngelis Halpern stated, "We have a very solid expansion vision for the upcoming year and we're delighted that Buzz jumped onboard to help us fulfill our legacy for cancer patients by assisting us in expansion of the organization and overall brand recognition." Buzz Brand Marketing's, CEO, Marisa King-Redwood said, "We are absolutely honored to work with You Can Thrive! as our charity for the year. Our executive team, primarily female, has all been touched in some way by Breast Cancer and what better way to honor ourselves and loved ones than to be part of the solution."

With a myriad of events to look forward to this year as well as a new board of directors, YCT plans to double the amount of women they help yearly and move into a more permanent and larger wellness center as soon as possible.
