Brian Austin Green and New Japanese Actress Genevieve Mariko Wilson Star in Multiple Award Winning Comedy Film Short "Turning Japanese"

Screened in Two Important Film Fests Opening in Los Angeles This Weekend The L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival and The Japan Film Festival Los Angeles Expect a Star Studded Turn Out

Well known actors Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90210, Desperate Housewives), Zibby Allen (Gray's Anatomy, Shit My Dad Says CBS), team up with Japanese-British actress Genevieve Mariko Wilson in a hilarious comedy film short called "Turning Japanese". This multiple award winning film short(ongoing) has most critics loving it, most film fest judges voting for it, and most film reviewers highlighting the fact that Genevieve Mariko Wilson steals the movie. Well known in Japan, Wilson is a new face in U.S and Canada. However, Turning Japanese has opened up many new doors and new opportunities here including a new U.S. recording contract and a starring role in a new motion picture 3D IMAX feature called 'Hurricane Kid" shooting this Fall with Director Jesse V. Johnson.

Born in London and raised in Kyoto, Genevieve Mariko Wilson studied classical ballet with her British choreographer father and enrolled in music college in London. She joined the famous Theater Shiki and appeared in musicals such as the hit LION King. As an actress dancer and singer, Wilson appeared in 4,000 appearances in Terminator 2/3D attraction as cast member Reika Ayanokouji at Universal Studios Japan.

Genevieve Mariko Wilson's shocking and memorable performance in Turning Japanese is helping the film win international honors including "Best Film" Audience Award and Best Comedy Jury Award at the Beverly Hills Short Film Festival, the Audience Award at Los Angeles United Film Fest and the Short Film Award at the Monaco Charity Film Fest. Recently the film has also won awards at Santa Monica Int. Film Fest, BelAir Film Fest, Cinekink Film Festival and the Breckenridge Festival of Film. After hopefully winning awards over this weekend the film is scheduled to appear in festivals in France & Ireland.
