SHP Records Announces Markeing and Promotion agreement with SoCal Band Feisty Piranhas

SHERMAN OAKS, CA, April 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) SHP Records is pleased to announce a marketing and promotion agreement with the hugely popular Ventura County band Feisty Piranhas to work with them to promote and market their album Live in SoCal.

Continuing in their DIY spirit, the band will continue to distribute their own music, which is currently available on itunes and other digital storefronts, but SHP will step in to boost the marketing and promotion the band has already been doing. SHP will promote the project online, on its websites and newsletters and via traditional and social media.

The project makes a great addition to the 2011 releases planned from SHP, including SKAd in Sydney with Special Beat and Pato Banton and Friends featuring Pato Banton, Sting and Peter Gabriel. The label will also release a project from the band Old Sand Mill, featuring Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.

The Feisty Piranhas project came to SHP Records through their "Get Distribution" option, offering artists the opportunity to have their music or video distributed on itunes and all digital storefronts in the US and around the world. In addition to providing distribution, SHP Records provides artists a basic suite of label services including publicity, marketing and promotion, along with connections to optional services like music videos, radio promotion and advertising.
