The event takes place at the Visy Theatre between September 29th and October 1st 2010, and is set to feature some of the movies that "usually play at midnight, go straight to DVD or never make it to Brisbane at all", the organisers have explained.

A screening of Strange Powers: Stephin Merritt and the Magnetic Fields will kick off the festival at 19:00 local time on September 29th, exploring the songwriting process of the musician and featuring interviews with the likes of Sarah Silverman, Neil Gaiman and Peter Gabriel.
