Bankers Life and Casualty Company Opens New Sales Office In Beaumont, Texas

Health Insurer Bankers Life and Casualty Company Announces New Opening

BEAUMONT, TX, April 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Bankers Life and Casualty Company, a national life and health insurer, announced the opening of a new sales office in Beaumont, Texas.

"We're pleased to be able to serve residents in Beaumont and in the surrounding areas," said Sherry Bogus, Branch Sales Manager. "Our growth will enable us to offer them more options for life and health insurance coverage."

Bogus named Eric Yates to lead a dedicated sales team at the newly-opened office located at 85 I-North in Beaumont. Yates has served customers in Beaumont almost exclusively since joining Bankers in 2008. Plans call for adding up to eight more agents to the team this year.

The office will serve the residents of Orange, Jefferson, Jasper, Tyler and Newton counties in Texas. It will also serve those in Calcasieu, Beauregard, and Cameron Parishes in Louisiana.

Bankers offers a broad line of insurance products for the retirement market, including long-term care and home health care, as well as life insurance and annuities. Bankers also provides Medicare Supplement insurance, Medicare's prescription drug coverage and Medicare Advantage plans through its affiliated and non-affiliated carriers.
