PHOENIX, AZ, September 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) For their first public appearance together, both Charles G. Irion and Ronald J. Watkins will be signing their books Murder on Everest and Murder on Elbrus. "This event is a big step for Ron and me," Irion said. "We are ready to greet our readership and introduce the Summit Murder Mystery Series."

This also marks a first for Arizona landmark El Chorro Lodge; the first time the venue has held a book signing.

Irion and Watkins are co-writing the Summit Murder Mystery Series. The novels to date include Murder on Everest, Abandoned on Everest, and Murder on Elbrus. The future holds eight novels total and spans across the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the world's seven continents. The fourth installment, Murder on Mt. McKinley will be released early 2011.

The free book signing event will take place Saturday, September 18 from 5 to 6 pm at El Chorro Lodge, 5550 E. Lincoln Dr. in Paradise Valley Arizona. The book signing will be followed by a private murder mystery dinner. The script was written by Murder Ink Productions exclusively for Irion Books LLC and the Summit Murder Mystery Series. Guests will participate in an interactive theatrical production based on Murder on Everest. "We will have three professional actors in attendance," Irion said.
