NANTUCKET, MA, September 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Nantucket island is frequented by executives, CEO's, bankers, surgeons, bankers, Hollywood actors, sports stars, and average folks looking for a getaway. A short ferry trip to the island offers 5-star service at your fingertips. Fine seafood, spectacular sunsets, and exclusive golf clubs are some of the serene luxuries that lure people to Nantucket. Being such a desirable location, brides and grooms from as close as New York to as far as England select this lovely island for their destination weddings. If you are familiar with the island you might already know some of the great wedding reception venues available in Town and over in 'Sconset. The White Elephant Hotel is a large luxury hotel overlooking the sea, for weddings that require a larger capacity. There is also the top rated Galley Beach Restaurant in Town. Some of the more unique venues include the Nantucket Whaling Museum and the historic Casino in Siasconset with exposed, vaulted ceilings and a stage.
