Orthophedics Conference to be Held at Empress Convention Center, Chiang Mai

Chosen once more as the venue of the Orthophedics Conference of Northern Thailand, the Empress Convention Center, Chiang Mai, proves once more that it is the premium choice for those looking for quality.

2011-04-20
CHIANG MAI, THAILAND, April 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Empress Hotel and Convention Centre has been chosen to host the Orthopedics Conference of Northern Thailand on 4 - 6 May 2011. The conference will be attended by over 250 surgeons, experts and researchers from leading hospitals around Thailand as well as international delegates.

"We are always excited to welcome the academic community to our facilities," Salita Khotphet, Event Manager of the Empress Convention Center said. "We operate our premises with a top quality and always ensure our standards are consistently high, both in equipment, space, and service. This is one of the many reasons why the medical community often chooses us for their conferences, especially as we offer plenty of exhibition space for pharmaceutical companies to showcase their latest innovations, products, and technology. Leading companies like Janssen-Cilag, Biozen, and Bayer and more selected us for their demonstration and product exhibitions. On each occasion they have been very satisfied with our standards of quality."

Among other subjects discussed at the National Orthopedics Conference will be "Unifying Approach of Segmentation and Registration for Ultrasound-Based Computer Assisted Orthopedic Surgery" by Dr. Agung Alfiansyah, a Researcher on Biomedical Imaging and Medical Image Processing who graduated from University of de la Mediterrane, France. While the estimated participants number at 250, it is expected that at least a hundred more local scholars from the University of Chiang Mai will be joining the conference.
