LAKE DISTRICT, ENGLAND, April 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Irish funnyman Ed Byrne is set to perform at the Sands Centre in Carlisle on his latest UK tour.

The comedian's show on Sunday May 22nd will give fans a chance to experience his trademark brand of quirky observational humour in one of the region's top entertainment venues.

His current tour Crowd Pleaser kicked off in March and is scheduled to visit theatres across the country before Byrne heads up to the Edinburgh Festival in August.

Following on from his highly successful show Different Class, the new act promises to give members of the audience many more hilarious insights into the 38-year-old's life.

As well as regular appearances on comedy panel shows, Byrne's CV boasts a number of TV acting parts and lead roles in film such as Are You Ready For Love and Zemanovaload.

Tickets for his performance at the Sands Centre are now available online, priced at GBP21. The show will begin at 19:30 and finish at approximately 22:00 BST.
