A New Version of myRMX Goes Live With New Features

The popular remixing app myRMX gets an update. Download the Free version and start sharing your remixes.

2011-04-24
LOS ANGELES, CA, April 24, 2011 (Press-News.org) myRMX announced today that a new version of its popular remixing app, myRMX, is now available in the app store. Why the update? "We are always seeking to improve our app. myRMX is always evolving and pushing the threshold of mobile phone capabilities. myRMX is not only about exciting music, but it is an exceptional mobile app like no other." said Steven Haun, Vice-President of Music and Business Development.

In the world of mobile apps a developer has roughly 20 seconds to get the customer interested in their app. Outside of 20 seconds you risk losing that customer for good. Not to worry with myRMX. With this revision, the user can get to remixing in just about 6 seconds. "Why risk losing a fan of myRMX. Why waste 20 seconds of someone's valuable time. All you'll need is 6 seconds to discover a really cool app," said Mr. Haun. A "Quick Mix" button has been added to the Main Menu screen. Once the "Quick Mix" button is pressed, myRMX shuffles through the user's library, randomly picks out a song, and then it's instantly off to the Remix Screen.

Another time saver was the addition of a "Sharing" button on the Main Menu screen. Tapping on the "Sharing" icon (two humans holding hands,) brings up a window where users can easily get or input their "Share Codes" to send their original/imaginative/one of a kind remixes to each other. myRMX now has 3 easy ways to Share Remixes with friends.

Pictures of all the updates, as well as the new improved video tutorial, can be found on the myRMX Facebook Fan Page.

myRMX is an entirely new mobile music phenomenon allowing users to remix music on their mobile phone for a unique, interactive experience. Using the original stems from the band's studio session, the fans can re-imagine a portion of the band's song. This unique mobile app represents the next generation of how users can interact musically. Targeting an audience of 250 million handsets worldwide, the myRMX app is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, on iTunes, and for Nokia phones through Nokia's Ovi Store.
