'Stars and Strikes' in Dacula Shows Appreciation with Community Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 18, 2010

On Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 10 am to 4 pm, Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center in Dacula will host a Community Family Fun Day with games, food and fun for all ages.

2010-09-12
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA, September 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) On Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 10 am to 4 pm, Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center in Dacula will host a Community Family Fun Day with games, food and fun for all ages. Highlights of the day include: face painting, jumping castles, live entertainment, special appearances by popular sports mascots, corporate/sponsor booths, special family fun day pricing and lots of surprises.

Gwinnett County ushered in a brand new category of family fun and entertainment with the grand opening of Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center in Dacula in December 2007. The concept was simple - build a 52,000 square-foot virtual playground for families to re-connect and have a blast enjoying a mega-gaming arena, 36 bowling lanes, state-of-the-art lazer tag, bumper cars, a full-service restaurant and party rooms. Now, five years later with a total of three Stars and Strikes locations in Cumming, Dacula and Dallas - and another under development in Cherokee County - the family entertainment concept has blossomed more than its founders, Alpharetta neighbors Chris Albano and Jack Canouse, could have ever imagined.

"We are overwhelmed and thrilled at the support the Gwinnett community has given Stars and Strikes in the years since we opened our doors," said Chris Albano, managing partner for Stars and Strikes. "The opportunity to celebrate and give back to the community each year is a great way for us to say 'thank you' to all the residents of Gwinnett County."

Admission to attend the Community Family Fun Day at Stars and Strikes Dacula on September 18th is free. Activity specials include: $2 (twilight) bowling, $2.50 lazer tag and bumper cars. Shoe rental is $2 and game cards are doubled in value up to $25. There will also be half priced arcade games and half priced Bowling Family Fun Packages at $49.99 (usually $79.99). Boutique bowling is $3/per game. Specials also apply to the snack bar with $2 specials all day on sliders, hotdogs, fry baskets, funnel cake fries, nachos and cheese, pretzels and 16 oz drinks. The above specials will run from 9am - 5pm.

Companies interested in sponsoring a vendor booth at the anniversary celebration for brand exposure should contact Tara Friedman at tara@starsandstrikes.org or call 678.965.5707.
