VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, September 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) Celayix Software has pre-released the latest version of its eTime Xpress product which contains significant enhancements that will benefit its core markets: advanced scheduling and time and attendance software users. Release 7.6 expands on the improvements of 7.5 with added integration capabilities and increased export/import flexibility; however the majority of its value lies in its new time clock integration and Celayix's new and improved time clock hardware offering .
Celayix chose to focus its development resources on these specific features and products after reviewing an amalgamation of Celayix customer feedback and extensive industry research. Consequently, the Celayix client base and all future Celayix prospects will derive significant benefits from this release.
"Although this latest release is another great step for our eTime product, our new time clock line-up is definitely where the "wow factor" comes into play," said Gurmit Dhaliwal, Chief Executive Officer, Celayix Software. "We wanted to offer more variety in our time and attendance solutions but we've chosen to incorporate state-of-the-art technology as well. These devices will therefore be perfect for our large and growing customer base of enterprise-level organizations"
The new Celayix time clock offering includes:
EtherTRAX—a badge terminal that meets the growing demand for easy interfacing to existing LAN's or WAN's.
FingerTRAX—a biometric terminal that uses fingerprint reading technology. No actual fingerprint images are used to protect user privacy and the biometric technology can either be used on its own or in tandem with various card reader technologies.
XPOCKET—a pocket-sized, portable solution that can identify the operator, workplace or activity being performed by remotely reading the code of a simple and economic RFID TAG. Its 3 key interface is simple and intuitive.
SuperTRAX—a badge and/or biometric terminal based on Windows CE 5.0 technology. This mini computer offers time clock capabilities and an array of other useful Windows applications.
Celayix Software offers a large portfolio of workforce management solutions that include advanced scheduling software, collaborative scheduling tools, self scheduling options, time & attendance software, and a wide variety of time tracking solutions such as biometric hand readers and web or phone based punch systems - all with sophisticated integration and configuration capabilities.
