Xinet Releases WebNative Suite XTensions to Support QuarkXPress 9

Xinet announces the release of Xinet XTensions to support QuarkXPress 9 which allows customers to be able to integrate QuarkXPress 9 with the powerful tools and features in the Xinet digital asset management system, WebNative Suite.

BERKLEY, CA, April 28, 2011 (Press-News.org) Xinet , Inc., a leader in digital asset management solutions (www.xinet.com), today announced the release of Xinet XTensions to support QuarkXPress 9. Xinet customers will be able to seamlessly integrate their desktop publishing software of choice with the powerful tools and features in the Xinet digital asset management system, WebNative Suite, saving designers and production professionals time and improving collaboration and productivity.

The new release of QuarkXPress offers features for more design automation and makes it possible for designers to publish content directly to mobile devices like the iPad. Xinet customers will now be able to utilize the Xinet XTensions to integrate QuarkXPress 9 into their Xinet server workflow and production more efficiently.

The WebNative Suite XTensions include:
• Picture Wrangler XT—automatically finds and relinks images that have been moved off-site for layout, proofing, or other purposes, which eliminates the tedious task of locating and relinking images one by one.

• WebNative XT— WebNative XT—allows WebNative users to preview and access Quark documents and the images within those documents.

• FullPress XT—enhances the use of QuarkXPress 9 with the Xinet FullPress prepress server software.

• Annotator XT—works in conjunction with the FullPress print queues to enable users to create PDFs that contain interactive links to images that reside on the FullPress/WebNative server. With a single click, the interactive links on the PDF offer users secure access to the original assets for modifications as needed.
