MEMPHIS, TN, April 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) WHO: Rhythm N Dance and Core Connection Lifestyle have partnered to premiere a short video of a February 2011 trip to Haiti with the Edeyo Foundation (which means, Help them in Haitian Krèyol). Members of these organizations visited Port-Au-Prince and provided health, nutrition and cultural arts programming to students and staff at the Joyous Heart School in Bel-Air, Port-Au-Prince.

PURPOSE: This event is to raise awareness and support for the Joyous Heart School in Port-au-Prince. This school is located in a red zone neighborhood" defined by the international NGO community as out of bounds because of security concerns. Rhythm N Dance and Core Connection Lifestyle plan to continue offering wellness, community and arts programming in Haiti.
RSVP: Edeyo is devoted to rebuilding the school, which was demolished in the January 2010 earthquake, and expanding enrollment in new and better facilities. Meanwhile, over 300 children are attending crowded temporary schools provided by Edeyo.
