Rainmaker Appoints Steve Cover VP of Software Development

Former Microsoft Exec to Lead Product Teams, Oversee QA and Business Intelligence

Cover will lead the LRO and revolution product development groups, as well as quality assurance and business intelligence teams.

Former lead for Microsoft Office Mobile, Peachtree Accounting to innovate products that increase client revenue

Prior to joining Rainmaker, Cover was Vice President of Research and Development for the Peachtree Accounting organization at Sage. His teams shipped award winning products and received the Global Sage Innovation Award for delivering tools to provide an extraordinary customer experience. Before joining Sage, Steve led Microsoft's Office Mobile development organization and worked on products that included Windows Mobile, Microsoft PhotoDraw, and Microsoft Image Composer. Steve is co-author of six technology patents incorporated in Microsoft products. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Furman University and earned an M.S. in Computer Graphics from Georgia Institute of Technology.
