Jennifer McGrath Receives the Endorsement of Huntington Beach Police Officers and Huntington Beach Firefighters

The Committee to Re-Elect Jennifer McGrath City Attorney of Huntington Beach announces that Jennifer McGrath has received the official endorsement of the Huntington Beach Police Officers Association and the Huntington Beach Firefighters Association.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, September 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Jennifer McGrath received key public safety endorsements in her campaign for re-election as Huntington Beach City Attorney. The Huntington Beach Police Officers Association and the Huntington Beach Firefighters Association have both officially endorsed Jennifer McGrath as the right choice for Huntington Beach City Attorney.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of our local firefighters and police. I applaud the efforts of our police and firefighters in ensuring our community is a better and safer place to live," said Jennifer McGrath.

"I have been the City Attorney for Huntington Beach since my election in 2002. Part of my job has been to provide advice to all City Departments including the Huntington Beach Police and Fire Departments. It is gratifying to have the people who judge your work every day say that you are the best person for the job. Huntington Beach deserves a City Attorney with experience, dedication, and a proven track record."

Jennifer McGrath has already received endorsements from a wide range of state and local dignitaries including Jim Silva the California State Assemblyman representing the 67th District which includes the City of Huntington Beach, Cathy Green the current Mayor of Huntington Beach, Jill Hardy Mayor Pro Tem, Huntington Beach Councilman Joe Carchio, Councilman and former Mayor Gil Coerper, and a list of other former mayors and City officials.

The Huntington Beach Police Officers Association also announced their endorsement of candidates for Huntington Beach City Council including: Connie Boardman, Joe Carchio, Jim Katapodis, and Fred Speaker. The Huntington Beach Police Officers Association endorsed Shari Freidenrich for Orange County Treasurer and Cathy Green for Orange County Water District.

The Huntington Beach Firefighters Association also announced their endorsement of Blair Farley for Huntington Beach City Council as well as City Council candidates Connie Boardman, Joe Carchio, and Fred Speaker. The Huntington Beach Firefighters Association endorsed Shari Freidenrich for Orange County Treasurer and Cathy Green for Orange County Water District.
