Short Sales Course Offered by Texas Real Estate School

The Texas real estate school Spencer Training offers a course on short sales and foreclosures.

2011-05-24
HOUSTON, TX, May 24, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Texas real estate school of Spencer Training (also known as Spencer School of Real Estate) is providing a new class on short sales and foreclosures. It addresses all the topics that real estate agents need in order to work with a bank on a short sale transaction. The class is a 15 hour MCE Certified Foreclosure Course and participants get a CFS designation.

The course is a short, but thorough education about real estate's newest trend: the short sale and foreclosure. "With today's economy, all Texas real estate agent schools must educate their students about these topics," notes Linda Robicheaux of Spencer Training. "In some places in the country, agents are addressing these concerns daily."

The course addresses these topics:
1. How a short sale operates
2. The reasons lenders perform short sales
3. The ways in which a short sale functions
4. Lenders' underwriting guidelines for a successful sale
5. How the relationship between servicer and investor influences short sales
6. Today's problems with short sales
7. Liabilities for agents, borrowers, and loan servicers
8. How to make money with a short sale
9. Steps for completing a short sale transaction

"The class doesn't have enough time to explain all the details of lender short sales," observes Robicheaux. "But, students of this Texas Real Estate licensing school class will get a working knowledge of short sales and will be able to serve the real estate community with understanding and professionalism."

Spencer Training's school offers one of the best ways of becoming a real estate agent in Texas. The school's curriculum was developed by professionals for professionals - and can accommodate the hectic schedules of today's attendees. They provide both in-class and online Texas real estate courses - and their classes are 100 percent customizable.
