The topics that will be discussed include: branding your business without breaking the bank; 8 tips to reduce taxes with your business; how to profit from LinkedIn; advantages of business bartering; and how to get more done with less. The guest speakers for this workshop are Rahna Barthelmess, Ted Lanzaro, Carol McManus, Debbie Lombardi, and Kimberly Kasparian.

Rahna Barthelmess has passionately built some of the world's beloved brands, most notably LEGO Toys, Miracle-Gro Plant Food, and Texaco Gasolines. She has shared her expertise and branding programs with thousands of business professionals in a variety of industries. As Chief Branding Strategist of Beacon Marketing, Rahna understands how to translate classic marketing ideas into practical "how-to's" that audiences can immediately apply to their own business lives. Rahna will teach attendees: why branding is important; how branding can bolster a competitive advantage; why branding increases sales; and five ways to strengthen brand communications.

Ted Lanzaro has been providing skilled and insightful business advice to real estate clients for over 17 years. During this time, he has seen all phases of the economic cycles that affect real estate and, as a result, is knowledgeable in the issues facing the industry. As a business advisor to many real estate companies over a long period of time, he has assisted companies in structuring their organizations, transactions, and financing to minimize taxes and maximize returns on their investment in all economic climates. Ted will teach attendees his tips for reducing taxes.

Carol McManus enjoyed a long career in the real estate industry serving in various roles of management, executive leadership and operations as well as training. She left her last position as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Operations for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation in 2007 to pursue her dream - owning her own company. Carol is now focused on speaking to audiences about how to use LinkedIn effectively. Carol will teach attendees how to build a comprehensive LinkedIn strategy to support business goals and overall marketing message.

Debbie Lombardi and her Barter Business Unlimited team is the premier barter service for the Connecticut community. Debbie will teach attendees how a barter company can really make a difference to a company's bottom line.

Kimberly Kasparian is known to her clients as the "Success Genie" for her ability to turn her clients' dreams into reality. Kim teaches executives, entrepreneurs and soon-to-be business owners her methodology for realizing personal and professional success. Kimberly will teach attendees: the benefits of managing energy versus time; how to create an time-blocking schedule via energy management; how to identify and manage priorities; how to get more done in less time; and how to control time and resolve conflict with energy management.
