This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Matterhorn Eagle Tournament. The 9-hole golf course is fit perfectly into the alpine landscape, with the majestic Matterhorn in constant view. Play is in the typical Scottish style, which means there are no manicured lawns or fairways in sight. Instead, golfers can expect to find themselves faced with a variety of obstacles such as cliffs, uneven grassy areas, rocks and marmot apartments. For those arriving from out of town it is recommended that hotels in Zermatt be booked well in advance.
