PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, June 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) The regional center of Diakonie Broumov in February and May 2011 provided several boxes of dishes and a total of 50 bags of clothing for the children and their families in Mozambique. Their donations will be shipped along with other material donations collected in the 1st phase of this charity drive to Mozambique, Africa at the start of June 2011.
The second deadline for the charity drive is September 25th, 2011. The "Helping Africa" drive can also be supported in other ways, for example by getting involved in certain programs or by financing specific development projects of the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park.
Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park supports development of the Mozambican residents
The "Helping Africa" drive is organized by the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park to support the improvement of the dismal conditions of the population living on its territory. The objective of the Helping Africa event is to support the communities living in the area of the border national park, the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park, who live there in dismal conditions and thereby help their future development. The donations received in the first phase of the Helping Africa drive (concluded on May 25th, 2011) will be shipped at the start of June 2011 directly to Mozambique, Africa where the representatives of the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park will pass them out into the hands of the responsible representatives of the local authorities and educational or healthcare facilities.
The Helping Africa drive is supported by prominent organizations, schools and individuals
A number of prominent European organizations decided to support the Helping Africa charity drive, which is organized in the Czech Republic since January 2011 to help the children and their families in Mozambique, Africa. Among these are such companies as the BMW Invelt, Èeská charita, Arcidiecezní charita Praha - Sv. Terezie or EFEKTIM and employees of Colgate-Palmolive. The drive was also supported by a number of schools and kindergartens Neverland Kindergarten and Nursery, Waldorf Kindergarten, Our Submarine Kindergarten and a number of other schools and kindergartens and organizations, but also individuals.
The Helping Africa project was supported on two occasions by the regional center of Diakonie Broumov - initially with 25 bags of children's clothing in February 2011 and then just before the end of phase one in May 2011 with 25 more bags of children for the African children and also several boxes of kitchen disis for their families.
