The Gab Group Retained as Agency of Record for 'Slam,' Boca Raton's New Social Table Tennis Concept

BOCA RATON, FL, June 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Gab Group, South Florida's leading PR and marketing agency, has been retained as the agency of record for SLAM, a fun new social table tennis concept opening at the Premier Level of Bogart's this June. The Gab Group will deliver a grand opening and comprehensive media strategy campaign designed to increase public awareness for the newest venture by Burt and Robin Rapoport, owners of Bogart's, Deck 84 and Henry's.

Located on the second floor at the Cinemark Palace 20, SLAM will cater to the general public, moviegoers and local table tennis aficionados, introducing Boca Raton to the new table tennis trend sweeping the nation. It will feature four ping pong tables where guests can play singles or doubles with full table-side access to Bogart's award-winning American food and beverage menu, as well as cocktail service.

"SLAM will offer its own unique spin on the beloved game of table tennis for beginners and experts alike, locals craving an exciting new form of recreation, and the nearly 3,000 people who pass through Bogart's each week," says Michelle Soudry, Founder of The Gab Group. SLAM will be open to the general public from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. After 2 p.m. players must be 21 or older. Table tennis will cost $5 per half-hour in off-peak times, or $10 per half-hour during peak times. The public can look forward to SLAM tournaments, leagues, lessons, and socials.

SLAM is located at the Premier Level of Bogart's at the Cinemark 20 movie theater, located at 3200 Airport Road in Boca Raton, Florida.
