Physician-owned Medical Office Building on the Rise

IMC Construction Groundbreaking- Bryn Mawr Medical Arts Pavilion and Skybridge

BRYN MAWR, PA, June 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Despite the sluggish economy and slow to recover construction industry, the healthcare sector continues to build. IMC Construction and Moreland Development mark the start of construction on the Bryn Mawr Medical Arts Pavilion, a physician-owned building on the campus of Bryn Mawr Hospital.

IMC Construction has been contracted to furnish Construction Management Services for construction of the new medical arts pavilion that will connect to Bryn Mawr Hospital via a pedestrian walkway over Lancaster Avenue. The 100 percent leased, 141,000 square-foot building is expected to be complete during the summer of 2012 and will provide office space for the Bryn Mawr Medical Specialist; a limited partnership of various medical practices.
