Running from Saturday July 9th to Sunday July 17th, the event is Malaysia's premier horticultural showcase and transforms the entire city into an elaborate garden of vibrant colours.

The focal point for this year's Floria is set to be Precinct 2 at the Waterfront in Putrajaya, where people will be able to view a selection of garden presentations and floral displays from all over the world.

Floria 2011 has adopted "Roses are forever" as its theme, so visitors should also expect to see a huge collection of the flowers spread across indoor and outdoor viewing points.

For the first time ever, every garden at the event is set to feature roses in a celebration of the flower's beauty and variety.

The displays will be accessible to the public between 09:00 and 22:00 local time Monday to Thursday. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, opening hours will extend until midnight.

Admission to Putrajaya Floria is completely free.
