SCOTTSDALE, AZ, June 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) Grimaldi's Pizzeria based in Scottsdale AZ, have unveiled plans to launch their second location of a new concept called Coal Burger, in Woodlands Texas. Coal Burger will be a fast casual dining concept that will utilize a similar coal-fired brick oven as Grimaldi's Pizzeria, to flavor the burgers they serve. The second location is set to open at the ever growing Town Center.
Although, Coal Burger will be known for its savory coal-fired burgers, the restaurant has an expanded menu to offer even more healthy options. Selections will include a vegetable and rice vegetarian burger and crisp Chef Inspired salads. A variety of delicious sides like sweet potato fries and seasoned french fries, all cooked in rice grain oil (notable for their higher amounts of antioxidants) are also available. Burger lovers can pair their meals with organic beer, biodynamic wine, thick organic gelato shakes, or Boylan's self-serve natural fountain sodas.
Coal Burger is not just about great food and better ingredients. They have gone beyond simply offering more natural foods and have made the actual building more eco-friendly. Upon walking into the location you will notice reclaimed wood in the artwork framing, recycled natural nickel patina, PVC free banquette seating, and the more sustainable bamboo furniture. All of their napkins, paper towels and toilet paper on site are 100% post recycled product.
Coal Burger was founded on the concept of better food options and sustainability. Coal Burger founder, Joe Ciolli states "Coal Burger is an exciting new concept in today's restaurant marketplace. The delicious smoky flavor of cooking in a coal fired oven, paired with natural ingredients, makes us believe we have a winning combination."
The first location of Coal Burger opened in Scottsdale Quarter Last spring. A third location is in the works in Chandler, Arizona.
About Grimaldi's' Pizzeria
In the world of pizza, Grimaldi's is an institution that has garnered more awards than any other pizzeria in the country with more celebrity sightings than most 5-star restaurants. Using only the freshest ingredients, a "secret recipe" pizza sauce, handmade mozzarella cheese and dough, Grimaldi's serves traditional pizza (as it began in Naples, Italy) in an upscale yet casual, family oriented pizzeria. The intense heat of the oven evenly bakes the pies to create Grimaldi's famous crispy and smoky thin crust that Zagat has voted best pizza year after year. http://www.grimaldispizzeria.com
